For the past two years I’ve been doing an underwater video series called “The Rivanna River Diaries,” which chronicles the Rivanna River in Charlottesville, Virginia and its source in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each segment is a minute or two long, and sometimes I combine them. “Mountain Flows” and The Rivanna River Diaries: The School” were recently accepted in the Visionaria International Film Festival in Siena, Italy. They will be showing in November 2018. I haven’t applied to film festivals for many years, and it feels good to be back into the process and experience.
