“Submerged” and “Mountain Flows” are showing at the International Underwater Film Festival Belgrade December 14-16 . Films for this festival must have footage that is 30% underwater (mine are pretty much 100%, except when the camera seems to come up for air…).
I’m interested in the other films in my category, in part because I believe I’m one of the few exploring rivers, and I’d like to see who else is… Freshwater is a frontier.
Some of these films you can see on-line. “Spirits of the Cave” brings back some fears of scuba diving in caves. I’ve done scuba diving near caves and regular caving near Hot Springs, Virginia, and I’ve snorkelled in a cave, but in my memory I’ve never done underwater caving (unless it was a really shallow cave and I’m blanking it out!).
