This October I spent a wonderful week with the students and faculty of Hampden-Sydney College. There were many enjoyable hours…teaching an underwater filming workshop at a pond, strolling through the woods during an Art and Ecology class, and standing beside photography students in a darkroom. My knowledge of traditional printing came alive again, tucked away after the digital revolution. It was gratifying to see the students leaning over their trays.
